Most running belts solve one problem and create another: the pouch is big enough for a phone, so it bounces. This one is cut flat and narrow, and the strap is elastic rather than webbing, so the load sits against you instead of swinging off you.

The pocket measures 20 × 10 cm. A 6.7-inch phone lies flat inside it with room left for a key and a card — you do not have to wedge it in diagonally. Beside the main pocket there is a smaller pocket for cards and cash, a hook-and-loop flap pocket for keys, and a port on the side for a headphone cable, so your phone can stay zipped in while you listen.

Good to know before you order

It is not waterproof. The fabric is woven nylon and the zip is not sealed. It shrugs off sweat and light rain; it will not keep a phone dry in a downpour.

The reflective strip is a visibility aid, not safety apparel. It lights up when a driver's headlights fall on it. It is not certified high-visibility clothing and it does not replace lights or bright clothing after dark.
